The sun has given us a Christmas Present. There are two sunspot groups from Cycle 25, 2753 and 2754. 2753 contains 2 spots and 2754 contains 1 spot. These early spots usually don't produce much activity that affect band conditions and many fade quickly before making it across the sun. Also you can get a mix of old cycle spots and new cycle spots. Generally they are both weak produce the same kind of conditions, though the old cycle spots can be stronger.
