March 4th 14:00z: After consultation with the Braveheart skipper this morning, we will now leave Signy Island on Saturday March 7th. Improving weather and sea conditions are more favourable for a later departure. We will extend our on air operations by another full day. We will now operate through most of Thursday March 5th. Please disregard the earlier notice on the end of operations being later today.. VP8PJ Team

Here is the March 3rd Update from the South Orkney Team.  Looks like today will be the last  full day of operation.  So if you need him today will be the day to work him.  He still has not uploaded logs later than February 28.  Guess I should try for a 40 CW backup contact.  He is working 12 and 10 CW today but is NIL here.  Bands still are in horrible shape.  I hear him on 17 CW with a great signal but it looks like the Europeans have the strongest signals.  Also looks like the the South Americans and parts of Europe are hearing him on 12 and 10 meters.

March 3rd  16:00z
80m antenna repaired earlier today.  As the day progresses we will be on all open HF bands.  Special emphasis tonight on 40m, 80m, and 160m, using both CW and FT-8 modes. Weather depending, Wednesday March 4th will be the last full day of operations.
Shutdown time to be announced.  We plan to use most of the day Thursday to completely tear down the operating positions and the camp.
