Dear members, this year is election year for 10-10. We have 3 Director offices and the Vice President/Secretary office on the ballot. When we first began to have elections these were big events for 10-10. Multiple candidates for every office and the ballots were mailed in. Now with the online election and so many younger members I am disappointed that it seems that no one wants to be involved.
This is a critical year two of our directors have served in many positions for many years and desire not to run again. Health, age, and family do take precedence. The offices are critical to the growth of 10-10 and since there is no travel required and the board meeting is online, the finical issue is resolved. As with any organization if you do travel to represent 10-10 as an Official at Amateur functions your expenses can be reimbursed in most cases.
April is critical because nominees need to submit there request prior to the 1st of May. If your membership has been current for the last 4 years and will remain current for your term of desired office you are eligible to seek nomination.
