I had a SSB contact with Israel a few minutes ago (1400z) at 28.410 Mhz... my first SSB to the Holy Land. 10 M appears to be good for long DX contacts this morning. Also note that I'm using my G5RV antenna with 100 w from the Kenwood TS-2000.
The distance is 5,600 miles to this location, according to my DXLab's DXView map.

Yep, lotsa stuff coming in. A good quick check on 10 meters to Europe is listen to 28.355 at 1400 UTC on Friday and Saturday. There is a 10-10 net on each day there and there are a number of European and US stations who check in. Usually I check in. (But today I've got a "ton" of things to do so I'm moving early getting going and out of here). Will probably be in there tomorrow.
