SOLD!

Most of the station is sold including the tower and beams. There may be some small pieces left but I have not heard what.

A Wallingford ham's son is selling his father's station.

The Amateur's call is W1MPO, Adwin J Rusczek, Sr. His son's name is Joe.

Here is what he emailed me:

Here is a small list of the equipment:
Icom-7410 transceiver
Icom-Sp23 speaker
Icom-Sm-30 mic
Sec-1235 power supply
This stuff is around 1 year old and probably used less than 6 times and we want to sell it complete and don't want to split it up. $1200.00 or best offer

Yaesu VX-8 hand held with spare battery it's less than 6 months old $250.00

This stuff is as is I'm not sure if it works or not and will take offers on it:
Kenwood TS-940s
Icon IC-736
Yaesu VX-7r

Finally a tower and antennas, will most likely require take down. (Email me if you want the full size JPEG.)

He does not know what is on it but looks to me like a Rhone 25 with a Ham-M or Ham II type rotor, a small possibly 6 meter beam, (looks to large to be 2 meters and I don't think it's a 10 meter monobander). And what looks like a Hy-Gain type 3 Element Tribander. I think Hi-Gain as it looks like the first Tribander I owned. So if it is it may be quite old though it looks in good shape.

Here is the contact information for the person to call..

The Rotor is a Yaesu

The Kenwood TS-440 has some issue it is not working. Joe did not specify if the problem was receive or transmit. Because of his father's sight issue is was easier to buy a new HF radio.

The tower is a 30 foot tower.

The station is still set up so the equipment can probably be tested in place.

Adwin became an SK a week ago and no one else in the family is interested in Amateur Radio.

If no bites here equipment will go on eBay.

The IC-7410 package at $1200 is a real bargain for someone looking for an HF station plus 6 meters.

Joe has already had some interest in the station from the postings here.
