PS: Get on 160, it's not that hard.
My friend, Jack K2RS, also from Ansonia worked them tonight with 100 watts and an inverted L with only 2 radials.

Nice! I got him on two bands 15 SSB and 17 CW. The 15 meter contact took a few hours of work on the second day he was up. On 17 I tried for "many hours" on phone but couldn't break the pile up. He went to CW and I worked on that too for a while before the 6 Meter club net yesterday. But by the time the the net was over he faded out, (lost the band).

This morning when I got up just before 7 AM and after feeding the cats I came up to read the paper. He was on 17 CW so I set up. I listened to the pileup and found what seemed like a open spot. I gave him one call and he came back to me! One shot done! I just SWLed the K1N while I read the paper. He was working a ton of East Coast Stations.

So now I just need him on 12 meters and RTTY. If he works 12 RTTY I'm done with that one. Had 10, 20, 40, 75 from a previous operation. Too bad, nothing for 30 and 160.
