"More activity to report. An M4.0 Solar Flare was detected around departing region 2322 at 15:45 UTC Tuesday. Image below by SDO using the 94 angstroms channel. Because these flares are taking place near the west limb, no noteworthy impacts to our planet other than brief radio blackouts are to be expected."
There have been a couple of flares just the past couple of hours. Just at about 1700 UTC we got hit with about an M3 flare that seemed to take 20 meters out for about 15 minutes before it started to recover. Some mobiles running counties in MN just disappeared. As Chekhov would say "He just "wanished".
It seem that there is a new or returning spot on the East limb of the sun which is just starting to come into view throwing off flares along with the departing flare on the West limb. The next few days should be interesting. Stay turned to your favorite HF Band.
