As you can see most of the action was on digital. The Europeans were in there strong but until the very last half hour of the contest I was not able to work any. I did have an SSB contact with a VO1 on 6 meters Sunday morning. He was strong but lasted only a few minutes. The others that tried to work him after I posted him to the cluster said that he was fading much QSB. Still much confusion on if the people on FT8 were working normal or VHF mode. Fortunately if you are in VHF mode and the other station was in normal mode you can uncheck the VHF contest box and generate regular exchanges on the fly. That worked for a number of stations. I was even getting some text messages asking me what the WW after the CQ meant. I was calling CQ WW N1API FN31. I texted them back telling them this was a contest weekend and many are running in the VHF contest mode. I think that there were more DXers on than contesters this weekend. SSB and CW were disappointing. 2 meters did not have much action on it.

Now I got an interesting weekend story to tell. For that I'll put it in the General Comments section.

Hope you all got some time on the air. Lets see if I got blitzed by N1ZN again in this VHF contest like the last one.
