Tour de Cure - Bike Race - Comms Needed - W1DMM - 05-29-2014
When: Sunday, June 8, 2014 6:30 AM - 11:00 AM (Some variation)
Diabetes Association fund raiser. Five (5) bicycle routes covering overlapping circuits in Wallingford, Meriden, Durham, Guilford, shoreline to Westbrook and Saybrook, up the Conn River (water wheels not required) to Haddam, Killing worth, North Haven and some I missed.

Start and finish in Durham. Shotgun starts between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Finish around 3:00 PM. Using several 2 mtr and 70 cm repeaters, many linked. (These are being finalized as we speak)
If you wish to be a rest stop contact, SAG (chase car) operator, or work net control contact Douglas WA1SFH at WA1SFH@ARRL.NET or 203-494-3885. There will be plenty of spots. He is hoping for a minimum of two at each location.
Depending on the spot, you may only have to be on site for a couple of hours while the bikers are passing.
Contact Douglas and he will keep you in the loop. ARES membership not required but desired.
