RMS express & TNC in TS-2000 - KC1SA - 11-02-2014
Anyone had any success getting a Kenwood TS-2000 built in TNC to work with RMS express. I've searched the web and it doesn't look promising. When I set up the program in the comms section the program always reports back that it can't find the TNC...Still hacking away at this but reading some of the stuff on the forums it doesn't look promising.

On the hunt... searching further on the web.... looks like the sub-band receiver has to turned on...making progress.

All working. First emails sent and received this evening with the assistance of KC1BAQ. Learned a few things along the way.
1. Rig manuals usually don't have all the information needed.
2. Rig manufacturers assume a lot of things.
3. Depend on Google heavily
4. Have a fellow ham give you some ideas.
