HF Commerical Radio history - W1CTN - 12-15-2014

To all:
If anyone is interested in reading about the folks who got paid for what we "play with", the Maritime Radio Historical Society has a very extensive website filled with HF commercial CW history.

The history centers around KPH radio from the west coast. KPH is still operational and one of the few museum stations around the world.

The side bar on the site has many topics. The newsletter can also be fun to read.

PS: Up until 1978 the largest commercial HF radio station was just across Long island sound from us...RCA station Rocky Point
