NAQP @ MARC 2016 - K1RCT - 01-14-2016
Since we have some Member interest in operating the W1NRG Memorial Club Station, I will set up the gear Friday or Saturday Jan 15 or 16.
From the Business Meeting tonight (1/14), several of us will meet at the MRC to finish setting up and making the Station ready for the NAQP.
One of the rules is that Multi Operator Stations may only use one name. I thought about Frank (Darmofalski), Adolph (Goodsell) or even the original holder of the W1NRG callsign Ed (Bisschert).
How about we simply use Marc as the Name? Simple, easy and somehow apropos.
I will post the Rules and specifically the exchange (simplified) when we set up the Memorial Station. Sort of a cheat sheet.
Anyone who would like a timeslot may post here or use The Reflector. I know John Bee will put a notice out on the Reflector tonight or tomorrow.
First come first served for securing a timeslot.
Anyone and Everyone is welcome to come to the Station to operate - even if you don't secure a timeslot. Who knows; the SAM may buy a pizza and refreshment for everyone. He's been known to do that.
Let's continue to get the W1NRG Station on the map! As John [GNV] says, "We are a Radio Club"!
