From John, N1GNV:

Here is some info on the major contests coming up. We’ve had a lot of fun in the last few events that we participated in. All four of these weekends offer plenty of operating slots, so contact the appropriate Team Captain now with your preferred time.

CQWW Phone runs from Friday, 10/28 8PM local until Sunday, 10/30 7:59:59 local.
As a single transmitter-multi-op station, we are allowed to operate a second transmitter on another band to get multipliers.
Mults are key to a good score. Maybe we can set up a second antenna for this… thinking of KB1EHE’s vertical, perhaps.
That means we’ll need more ops, but that also means we can take longer shifts. Seems like an hour just goes by too quickly, doesn’t it?
Team Captain for CQWW Phone is John, N1GNV.

ARRL Sweepstakes CW runs from Saturday, 11/5 5PM local until Sunday, 11/6 10PM local (note that the time changes this weekend).
Team Captain is Bill, W1KKF

ARRL Sweepstakes Phone runs from Saturday 11/19 4PM local until Sunday, 11/20 10PM local.
We’re looking for a Team Captain for this one.

CQWW CW runs from Friday, 11/25 7PM local until Sunday, 11/27 6:59:59 local. Note this is Thanksgiving Weekend.

RE: September, October & November Contests - KB1EHE - 10-19-2016

Elsie & I are looking forward to operating in the upcoming contests. Let us know when specific operator schedules come out -- and we'll add our names to particular time slots.

For the immediately upcoming CQWW Phone, we are open to a variety of potential operator slots on Saturday daytime (morning and afternoon).

As suggested, I will bring my multi-band vertical for a second transmitter to help us get multipliers.

See you all soon!

73, Eric KB1EHE & Elsie KB1IFZ

Awesome Eric!

We could set up the Mult rig (TS-690) in another room with the Dunestar on each.
