I did double my score by giving back all the contacts to stations as QTC (Traffic). Though the bands weren't terrific, they were better today than yesterday, I had some nice runs on 15 meters yesterday and today. Today I had a nice run on 20 meters on 14.170 before the big guns came up from 15 meters and took over the band. I worked there for just over an hour and made about 75 QSO calling CQ. WAE is known for it's "Unusual" contest calls and I worked probably the longest call that I've ever heard on the air, DR50RRDXA it took me about 3 minutes to get that one right the first time I heard it I was not sure if two stations were trying to call me at once. I'm just glad it wasn't CW! Surely a fun weekend.
Hope you all got a chance to play. WAE saves Meriden ARC as a club so if you worked the contest go ahead and submit your log for the club.
