No chair time Friday, I left that to the Big Guns. Saturday I started at 6AM on 40M and was pleasantly surprised,
especially at the points accumulation! 20M, 15M and several hours during an opening on 10M were fun but the money
band was 20M. Worked it until 6PM when I took a break for dinner with friends.
Sunday was no joy. Nothing like Saturday but that's to be anticipated I guess. Eventually 15M opened, 20M started slow too
but then the South Americans showed up on 10M! Fun after 1PM or so. After switching from 15M to 20M,
I found a 'Lone Aussie' on the low side of 20M in all of his +20db glory and no pileup!
Worked several ATNO's this weekend too (Georgia and a few Islands I can't bring to mind). Finished on 40M going after NA Op's.

Saturday I spent working only multis. I had one dupe and two klinkers in there Saturday. Sunday I started with the multis but after about and hour there were not that many so I started to work all stations. Still I just could not quite get into it Sunday and I think the final score shows it. I had 316 QSOs when I quit Saturday at 2251 UTC. I was about out of gas so I needed to stop.

Sunday the bands did not seem to good to start. 15 meters was poor to Europe 20 meters was better. They seemed to get better as the day got on. 15 meters was better into Europe later in the day and so was 20. 10 meters was pretty good Sunday in South and Central America better than I expected, I even worked a ZL on 10 meters, (which gives me hope I may hear the VK0 on 10, one we need to watch these next couple of weeks).

So, if you worked the contest please submit your log for Meriden ARC. I heard two of our club members this weekend there may have been more.

Next up testing the new Radio Computer, the COM1 Port is in and the computer looks like it recognizes it, so next week the computer goes up for testing with the radio, digital programs and N1MM.

Not much chair time for this event, Easter weekend for a contest? Oh well squeezed in some time on Friday night and Saturday afternoon and evening. Conditions seemed pretty good Saturday, listened on Sunday and made a couple QSOs but then house guests arrived.
