I looked at the scores but did not see the results for the clubs. Hope that comes soon.
I may try some digital in the contest this year. I see it is allowed and also 2 points a contact like CW, I think that I can get some extra contacts on the county hunter's digital frequencies.

Only worked a couple of hours Sat and Sun evenings. Had a big run on 40 meters Sat night.

Besieged with problems; most antennas down, RF in shack, loose connectors, grounding probs - related to RF in shack, bad/erratic mike, etc
but was on a few hours. Sat was better than Sun by far.

Conditions were definitely worse than last year as you can see by the band scores. I think that participation from Non New England stations was considerable less, especially on Sunday. I did have a couple of good runs on 20 SSB Sunday and I spent much of the time "working DX" by calling the DX stations for new multipliers. If it wasn't for the 7QP stations Saturday I would be "down" maybe 50 or 60 contacts. I've suggested to Tom that the start time for the NEQP be moved back to Noon, (1600 UTC) on Saturday. There was a TON of 7 call area stations on. I worked a few before the contest that were new counties for me. I was holding my breath that they would still be around when OUR QSO party started and they would not tell me I was dupe.
I spent more time twisting the dial looking for stations than anything else. 10 meters disappointed, even the 10-10 CW QSO stations were missing, 15 never really opened, and 20 was fair at best.

Tom answered me on this saying that the reason that it was 4 PM was because of "pushback" from people who go to Dearfield and want to do both events.
Looks like starting times won't be changing soon.

Well, was not a record year for me.
Since I was recovering from surgery on Thursday (yes to my detractors, I will live!), the contest stamina wasn't up to par.
I also discovered that Percocet and CW where a bad combination!
My apologies to those subject to reply delays and poor keying at times.
Just had a small ear to brain to fingers issue while under the influence!

I strayed and did some SSB for a change, mostly to overcome the Percocet's effect on CW.
Anyway, another NEQP over and another entry for the club.
Hell you beat me. Perhaps I need some of those drugs!
