Extending my gratitude to John [N1GNV], John [W1DQ] and my son Stuart for assisting in setting up the gear at the MRC for the 2016 NAQP.

Also to: Dan Busa [KB1ZMK], for assistance, Todd [K1TDO], Jim [N1ZN], John [K1VDF] for support.

Operators:
John [N1GNV]
Todd [K1TDO]
Jim [N1ZN]
Rob [KC1ACN]

It was great watching Todd take part of this "Contest". He seemed to have fun doing it and he did Very Well! Todd had the Lion's share of QSO's and seemed to have fun. I hope this is the beginning of something great for our Club.

Again, John Bee led the way and got us off to a a good start in the NAQP in the 1PM TO 3PM slot with 22 QSO's. Todd picked up 3PM to 5PM with 23 QSO's. Jim & I followed successively with 12 & 14 QSO's each.

Looking at some preliminary scores from other Clubs; I think we could do better with a fully staffed schedule. An obvious statement I know but we had enough people show up so as to make an effort that would have doubled our score.

Please consider operating in the next one from the Club House Guys and Gals!
I too have my own gear at my House but... as John [GNV] states; "We are a Radio Club". Let's make a dent! We have solid, working gear and it's not so much to get it set-up. I'm willing, are you?

AND: N1MM+ is a remarkable piece of software and worthy of your time to 'get to know'. We have an N1MM+ Clinic in the works for the February Activity Meeting. Come One, Come All and let's put W1NRG back on-the-map!

Next Contest is the ARRL DX CW : Third full weekend in February (February 20-21, 2016).
Contest Period: 48 hours each mode (separate contests).
Starts 0000 UTC Saturday; ends 2359 UTC Sunday.

after which, Phone: First full weekend in March (March 5-6, 2016).
Thanks to Rob KC1ACN for the work he and Stu did to set up and tear down the station. That takes away from his personal time so it is very much appreciated.
