Any thoughts of entering as a team for the RTTY contest this weekend?

You may wish to form a team with fellow
NAQP participants. If so, your team must consist of two to five
Single-Operator stations whose individual scores are combined
to produce a team score. Although clubs or other groups having
more than five members may form multiple teams, there are no
distance or meeting requirements for a team entry. Teams must
be registered prior to the start of the contest. Use one of the following
online forms to register your team:

CW team registration: www.ncjweb.com/cwnaqpteamreg.php

SSB team registration: www.ncjweb.com/ssbnaqpteamreg.php

I'll do it. We could set up gear at the MRC or from Home.

Please post here if you're willing and what you'd like to do (Home or MRC).

Sounds good to me. I'll may play around a little from home this weekend. If you register the team as Meriden ARC we can use our default club in N1MM.

OK Steve [aka Captain], we have three now.
We have to register the Team before the Contest Start Time.

Let us know when you do.
Rob got me pumped up last night with those N1MM Videos. Especially the one about saving .mc files for each contest. Usually I just modify one for the particular contest so I decided to start to save individual ones and what better one then the contest this weekend? Plus it's a digital contest and I can sit on a frequency and run stations for hours at a time if I want.

Like I told Rob, you can teach and old dog new tricks.

We are are registered as a team; KC1AXN (captain), KC1ACN, and N1API... if anyone else wants in please post.
Ugh, sometime I get so messed up with these contests that have "unusual" start and end times. Fortunately the calendar on the Forum converts them for me.

Also here is a handy chart online that has both Standard and DST times that's useful too: http://www.w7mcm.com/zulutimeconversiontable.htm

As I started to look at the rules I see that this is a 12 hour contest. It also looks like some of it will be at times when most of the upper HF bands will be "in the dark". Looks like the most productive times, (at least for me) will be from the start to about 6 or 7 PM.

Lot of fun this one. 15M was shabby but the surprise was 80M.

Didn't expect much since my OCF doesn't tune 80M so well but it turned out my best rate: 30Q's/Hr!

10 Hours BIC! My ass hurts!
