The 10-10 Summer QSO Party takes place August 6th and 7th on the club's 10 meter net frequency of 28.375. Work other 10-10 members for 2 points each. Work those without a 10-10 number for 1 point each. It is hoped that all club members will get on during the weekend to try and work as many 10-10 members as possible. When you report your score be sure to credit Castle Craig Chapter of 10-10 with your score. As you work other locals please remind them that the Castle Craig Chapter is their local chapter and we would appreciate their scores in the Chapter totals also.

This year the Kick Off Net will be held Friday the 5th of August at 7:45 local time. Steve KCS1A, will be the Net Control and he will also be giving out the Club Station, W1NRG and it's 10-10 number. Steve will be running W1NRG for the contest weekend.

Please make it a point to be there for the net on Friday and also to be around for he contest during the weekend.

Hello from Chicago. Just got back from the Willis Tower, (Sears Tower for those of you who don't know the name change). Got some great pictures from the 103rd floor observatory. Then went to lunch at a great American Restaurant, McDonald's. Last week when I was here I took the two hour bus tour. See you all Monday on the 6 meter net.

Now sitting in the brand net Metropolitan Lounge which opened a month ago. Got everything, free snacks and drinks even a shower which beat the one on the train by 200%
