Band ------ Q/QTC ------QSOs ------- Mult
14 ---------- QSO ----- 274 --------- 90
14 --------- SQTC ----- 250 ---------- 0
21 ---------- QSO ------ 23 --------- 30
21 --------- SQTC ------ 22 ---------- 0
Total ------- ALL ------543 -------- 120

Anyone see a discrepancy here? Add up the QSOs and QTCs and you will see that I had one more QTC than QSO. How does that happen. This seems to be some sort of N1MM error. I looked at the QSO sequence number and it is correct. Also each QTC sequence has the exact number of contacts in it as the number sent. I should probably print the log and see if one QTC got sent to two different stations. I did see someone else question a QTC issue on the N1MM list but did not pay to much attention to it. I also sent a query to the list will see what happens with it. Also my log upload confirms one more QTC sent than contact.

Anyway Sunday was a little better than Saturday. I had a couple of nice runs on 20 today mostly in the morning but then again in the afternoon. Worked a couple of stations that I did not expect to, Malta and Gibraltar. Gibraltar is rare in WAE in fact there has not been any entry from there in many years and the station was not in the contest but if you were able to work him you could put it in with a 1 for a contact number and get credit. I worked three stations from Albania, one was ZA/OH1BH Marti Lane the ham who opened ham radio in Albania many years ago. I believe also three Egypt stations on 20 and one on 15, I hope they upload to LBOTW I need those for country credit. It looks like my total county worked total was 51. I believe that there are 71 countries in Europe according to WAE.

Hope you all had a little fun OTA this weekend!

If you sent a QTC to an Operator you previously QSO'd (say two hours earlier) this may skew your QTC count in the way you see it here. You must have contacted someone previously logged, later in the contest strictly for QTC. This is legal.

My $.02, YMMV
