MF/HF Receive loop - W1CTN - 01-15-2015

NEW @ RADIO ANSONIA !

W1AEX RECEIVE LOOP

This 85' loop is a good bi-directional receive antenna for my location. Your mileage may vary.

It does what it is suppose to do. This loop reduces the ambient noise so you can copy a marginal signal on the low bands.

I do not have the room for a beverage. I haven't needed to use a preamp with this loop, even when copying non-directional beacons in the 300 kHz band.

Like "Mikey" said in a 1970's TV commercial..."try it, you might like it"
