The “not normal” display was a result of webpage encryption and not a matter of which combination of Operating System and Browser is being used as all modern systems have such settings. The W1NRG webmaster, whoever that is, needs to upgrade the W1NRG BB Forum that seems to be behind.
HTTPS is HTTP with encryption. The difference between the two protocols is that HTTPS uses TLS (SSL) to encrypt normal HTTP requests and responses. As a result, HTTPS is far more secure than HTTP. A website that uses HTTP has HTTP:// in its URL, while a website that uses HTTPS has HTTPS://.
The Forum BB system incorporates pages of mixed encryptions. The part of the display that is not encrypted is now normally blocked and to return to the “normal” display requires one to change that page from “block” to “allow”. It is, it Is a matter of the encryption settings in place at the time the webpage is accessed
There may be a lock icon that one can click on the lock icon and pull up a menu box. This will lead you to the browser’s encryption setting for the web page in use. You can then choose to block the site or allow it. If, you choose to allow a HTTP version you will no longer prevent anyone from monitoring the session; take care not to input sensitive private information.
