I've always advocated sending your log in to all the groups running different contests even if you were not concentrating on that particular contest or logging them for points in your contest. Instead of just logging the contact you should log the report they give you. While logging for the NEQP weekend, I also log 7QP, INQP and ARI. Today I received a nice surprise from ARI. A certificate for First Place, United States, Mixed, Low Power.
