So I fought with the broken SteppIR all weekend.   Discovered that I have the most problems on 20 meters I can't calibrate it there.   Don't know yet if it is the controller or antenna itself.   Only repair of the controller will tell me but doing this puts me off the air, so I am gathering parts to get this done.

Still the conditions were great.  I was especially surprised at the opening to the Pacific Saturday evening on 10 meters.  If I count right I did 110 individual countries over 3 bands.  I was not "into to win it" and hit 400 QSOs said, "I'm Happy" and quit early.

Here are the results

I played for a few hours on and off. I was happy with getting 12 separate Zones.
I'm not a big contester (As my score reflects) and I'm only running barefoot.

It was fun but the pileups were crazy.

Great!  The idea is to have fun and make contacts.   When you put your log in for the club use Meriden ARC and the scores will be aggregated together when the results are published and we can see where Meriden ARC stands along side the other groups like YCCC and other local clubs that submit logs.

Here is an example of the part of your Cabrillo Log you report your scores on and where you use Meriden ARC as your club.

LOCATION: CT

CALLSIGN: N1API
CLUB: Meriden ARC
CONTEST: CQ-WW-SSB

Usually this bit can be set to show as a standard part of your submission so you don't need to put it in every contest.

The only ones where we don't use this are the 10-10 QSO parties where we are The Castle Craig Chapter

Thanks Al,
I'll change it to "Meriden ARC" and send it in.
Every little bit helps I guess.
