10 meters was in surprisingly good shape. Saturday I got a late start but did manage some Europe. I'm sure the late start had me missing some. European openings were not "deep" in, no Russia or Soviet contacts.

Sunday seemed to be South America, Central America and the Caribbean day with good signals, the Brazilian stations sounded like they were in my backyard. There were no earth shattering contacts though I did manage to work Hawaii, and Australia for the longest contacts. Alaska was spotted a number of times but I could not hear them even though I did work some Canadian stations including VE7 BC, which is "next door" to Alaska.

Many US contacts, this was a good contest if you wanted to work on your WAS, in fact I started out Friday evening working CT, VT, MA, NH and NY some nice backscatter until the band shut down.

Hope you all got some time in on this one.

Nothing extra for "Scores" but:

While running Friday, Saturday and Sunday (nothing BETTER to do), I copied almost as many MARC Members as contacts!

Thanks to Mark K1PU, N1ZN, W1DQ for your input.

I changed my tempo on Calling CQ (3 second interval) and even changed the actual voice call to a longer one to allow for someone else tuning up on me (thanks Jim N1ZN).

It was nice to talk to friends and also make official contacts while doing so.

Heard Jim N1ZN in a pileup for a Cayman Island Station (never made him - came back several times but there were too many) as well as Al N1API (weird hearing November One Alpha Papa India instead of N1API all bunched up)!

Wondering how you did Mark?

OK, here is my contribution to the club score.

To bad the WX was so good!
I had some outside chores since the WX was nice, but I got in some Op time.
